It's war on Gossip Girl and Trauma premieres on NBC

The wave of new shows has subsided and as of tonight they're down to a trickle with Trauma. Now it's time to sort through the mess and see which shows you'll be sticking with and which will lose a spot on your personal viewing grid.

If you're holding a spot for the new CW series The Beautiful Life, let it go. The series became the first official cancelation on Friday. As for returning shows, Dollhouse opened with two popular actors from the genre and even that wasn't enough to entice people to watch.

Numb3rs came back with a solid, but not spectacular, season opener. Gary Cole was wasted as a father out to prove that a political activist is a danger to those around him. The stakes simply weren't high enough for a started episode, but it's always good to see everyone back for another go-round. And did Don grow his hair out? He's looking mighty fsine.

Kelly Rutherford is going Through a Challenging Time

She may be going through a nasty divorce but Kelly Rutherford is still seeing the silver lining.

After obtaining a restraining order against her estranged husband, Daniel Giersch, earlier this week, the Gossip Girl actress put on a brave face Saturday to attend the DSW Presents: Step Up & Step Out brunch in Manhattan.
"I have it very lucky even though in my personal life right now I’m going through a very challenging time," Rutherford said. "I do know that there are women that I can help somehow because they’re going through a much tougher time."

As for her own troubles, the star, 40, is turning to her mom for support – and laughs.

"My mom's been through it too. I mean, not in the way that I'm going through it, but she understands," Rutherford said. "She is hysterical. She sent me that Christina Aguilera song "Stronger" and that's when I'm laughing and crying at the same time, like, 'Mom, I love you!' "
Rutherford is enjoying her time with son Hermes, 2, and Helena, her 3-month-old daughter, especially watching her son turn into a big brother.

"He gets up in the morning and he gives her a kiss and he goes ‘tickle, tickle!,' " said Rutherford. "He talks about her and how she can't eat yet, and he's so lucky he can have ice cream, and he can't wait to introduce her to [to it]. It's really cute.”

Kelly Rutherford gets restraining order against ex-husband

ET has obtained the restraining order "Gossip Girl" actress Kelly Rutherford acquired on Thursday against her estranged husband Daniel Giersch. Read on for the details.
The temporary restraining order stipulates that Giersch must stay at least 100 yards away from Rutherford and their two young children. It's effective through October 15, at which time a court hearing will be held.
In the court papers, the actress accuses her estranged husband of "alarmingly harassing and scary" behavior. "Not only does Daniel harass me, but my child care provider has quit as a result of Daniel's harassment and threats."
She continues, "It is clear that Daniel has begun to follow me, my mother, my nanny and he shows up unexpectedly to threaten and scare us."
Giersch's attorney tells ET that Rutherford's claims are "fabricated accusations," adding, "Daniel will remain focused on co-parenting both of their children and not make any personal comments in order to continue to protect the children's need for privacy and well being."
The actress filed for divorce from her estranged husband earlier this year, citing "irreconcilable differences."

'Gossip Girl' to gather steam with celeb guests

Pinoy fans of Leighton Meester have a reason to rejoice now that the femme fatale is back via the third season of “Gossip Girl.”

Airing on ETC every Tuesday at 8 p.m., “Gossip Girl” continues the saga of privileged teenagers enmeshed in a tangled web of love, lust, deceit and, yes, gossip.
Meester as the ever-stunning Blair Waldorf, along with actors Blake Lively, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick who each reprises their roles in the hit series, go on with their story after they have graduated from high school.
A sneak peek at the first three “Gossip Girl” episodes held at Aquaknox Restaurant, Makati City on Sept. 22 show the same catty dialogs, fast-paced and engaging storyline and fashionable young ones as in previous seasons.

In the episode “Reversals of Fortune,” couple Chuck and Blair try to spice up their relationship by playing mind games. Blair’s ex-boyfriend, Nate, meanwhile, has a new love interest in the person of Bree Buckley.

The Humphreys spend their summer in the Hamptons, with Dan struggling to get the hang of their new-found, good life. Vanessa looks forward to seeing her best friend—albeit she is disturbed with the “change” in him—so she could introduce him to this “new guy” named Scott.
Serena captures the interest of the paparazzi and so scandalous pictures of her find their way to the tabloids.

All that happening in a single episode.
Yet some die-hard fans at the screening, thought the first few episodes of season 3 lack punch.
Marice Lupoy, moderator of Gossip Girl TV (a Multiply community), said, “It was just like any other episode. There’s nothing new and nothing really explosive.”

The guest celebrities in coming episodes of “Gossip Girl” season 3 such as Hilary Duff, Joanna Garcia, Tyra Banks, Tory Burch, Georgina Chapman and alternative granddaddy Sonic Youth are wont to change that notion as the season progresses.

“Gossip Girl”is based on Cecily von Ziegesar’s best-selling book series. The TV series had won several Teen Choice Awards in 2008 and 2009.

Desmond Harrington Returns to Gossip Girl

Jack Bass, the devious uncle of Gossip Girl's Chuck (Ed Westwick), is set to return to the show later this season, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

"I will be back this year," says Desmond Harrington, who plays the character. "I think it's episode 15 or 16 where I show back up. It's fun playing Uncle Jack."

When we last saw Jack, he tried to attack Lily van der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford), who had taken over Bass Industries for Chuck. Jack was then sent packing back to Australia with a sore jaw after being punched by Chuck.

Harrington, who currently plays Det. Quinn on Dexter, says the producers asked him to come back, but he doesn't yet know the plot details surrounding Jack's return to New York. However, the actor says he hopes to continue making Chuck's life a living hell. "I think, if anything, I am there to screw that kid's life up basically," Harrington says. "I think he might be, out of all the most evil characters the show has ever had on it, the most evil character. He's evil."

Paying a visit to “Live! With Regis and Kelly,” Chace Crawford stopped to sign autographs and take pictures with fans outside ABC studios earlier today (September 14).

The hunky “Gossip Girl” actor looked great in a pin-striped blazer and shirt with shades and a tossled head of hair.

In other news, actress Joanna Garcia joined the cast of “Gossip Girl” and will be playing the role of Nate’s (Chace Crawford) love interest in the upcoming fall season premiering tonight at 9pm on the CW.

Of kissing Crawford, the lucky girl tells, “It’s everything you could imagine and more.” But, she points out, Crawford is even more gorgeous “when you get to know him.”

Gossip Girl premieres

Gossip Girl is back and off to NYU. The CW hit show joins One Tree Hill on a night of soapy premieres.
First, Kayne West ruins Taylor Swift's VMAs moment in the spotlight and then I find out ABC Family canceled Ruby & the Rockits. I'm beginning to think there's no place in this world for sweet and wholesome. Okay, so Taylor sings about high school and young love and I get that's not for everyone, but she's my absolute favorite singer right now, so congrats on that VMA award! You go, girl.
Editor’s note: What will be interesting to see is how Kanye West is on the Jay Leno premiere tonight. Did we mention Rihanna's there too!
As for Ruby, yes, it's cutesy and over the top but isn't there room on TV for a sweet, enjoyable comedy? Come to think of it, if you look at Alexa Vega (who plays Ruby) and Taylor Swift there's something very similar about them. Perhaps it's not so odd that I love them both.

Taylor Momsen Says 'Gossip Girl' Is 'Shocking' This Season

Taylor Momsen is ready to take her throne as the Upper East Side's newest Queen Bee on the upcoming season of "Gossip Girl." The third season premieres on Monday, and the actress by day, Pretty Reckless rocker by night told MTV News that the writers have cooked up even crazier stuff for Jenny Humphrey and the crew to go through this year.

By now, the cast should be somewhat used to the antics the writers come up with for their characters, but the 16-year-old said she is still amazed by the story lines they create for her. "Every script is shocking," she said. "You're just like, what are they going to do this week? It's amazing how much stuff they come up with for our characters to do."

She went on to explain — unfortunately, without giving much away — that fans are going to be surprised by the direction the show is going in. "If you had watched the first episode of season one and [then] watched the last episode we just filmed, you'd be like, what?" she said. "What is going on? What is happening?"

But all that drama is makes it so much fun for Momsen to keep coming back as Little J. "It's a lot of fun," she said about the upcoming season, adding that fans just need to watch if they want to know exactly what she means. "A lot of mix-ups this year in the season. It's cool. Stay tuned, for sure."

Chace Crawford Promises More Scandals In Season 3

The CW interviewed “ Gossip Girl” star, Chace Crawford who plays Nate Archibald on the show ,and he shared some more season 3 spoilers. He said since they’re in college now, it’s a little more fresh and opens up a wider range of possibilities for the show.

He says to start off season 3, Nate and Vanessa went on a tour during the summer as friends. However, he says they may have hooked up a couple of times. Then he says he returns with a new girlfriend named Bree Buckley. She plays a southern girl type.

Then he says, Nate’s family will start to come back into play this year.It concluded with him saying that they’ll also be cycling through different relationships and scandals,as always.

Enjoying a mild evening in New York City, Taylor Momsen was spotted leaving a Midtown Manhattan hotel with a friend last night (September 8).

The “Gossip Girl” actress looked lovely in a sparkly gold ensemble with black ankle boot heels as she strolled past the paparazzi and off into the night.

Miss Momsen was recently recruited to play at a Teen Vogue party along with her band The Pretty Reckless, and it sounds like she’s psyched for the gig.

According to a gal pal, “She’s been practicing for it all week.” At least if her “Gossip Girl” job goes south, she’ll have a musical career.

'Gossip Girl' cast 'cause frenzy in NYC'

The cast of Gossip Girl reportedly caused chaos while filming scenes in New York recently.

According to the New York Post, police barricades and extra security were needed after over-enthusiastic fans descended on the filming location near the city's Empire Hotel.

One onlooker claimed that co-stars and real-life couple Blake Lively (Serena van der Woodsen) and Penn Badgely (Dan Humphrey) sparked excitement when they were spotted "making out in the lobby" between takes.

The insider added that scores of extras were also present in the area and that they were clad in 1920s outfits for a scene where character Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) throws a themed party.

Earlier this year, star Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey) revealed that the cast were once shouted at by school principals for unintentionally encouraging students to skip class to watch filming.

Leighton And Ed Westwick Head Overseas To Sell Clothes

It's no surprise that overseas, famous American actors tend to be models and pitchmen for foreign products. Haven't you all seen "Lost in Translation"? With that being said, we here at Hollywood Crush were very, very stoked to see that our very own Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) have teamed up for ads for a Korean clothing brand.
So when we saw that the ad appeared in the Korean edition of Nylon, we wanted to get our hands on it that way we could share it with you, our faithful Crushers and "Gossip Girl" lovers.

The duo, decked out in preppy garb that we're sure Blair and Chuck would have loved to wear to school back in their high school days, posed for ASK Enquired and they appear to be getting very comfy with one another for the photos.
They both look adorable in it, especially Ed who is doing his best Zoolander for the photos, and plus he's not new to being a model for brands. In addition to his fabulous work for ASK, he's also the face of K-Swiss. So, now it seems like he'll have the kicks to go with those warm, autumnal sweaters.

There's no denying that Tony Romo has a type.

But the new woman in question isn't just any blond – Romo is said to be dating "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford's younger sister, Candice.

Sources tell CelebTV.com that Romo, 29, has been "getting very cozy" with the 22-year-old former Miss Missouri.

The hot new couple presumably met by mixing business with pleasure.

Candice covers high school sports for local Dallas TV station The 33-TV and also hosts the Dallas Cowboys weekend sports show, "Special Edition."
