'Gossip Girl's' Chace Crawford turns 24

Must be nice to celebrate a birthday young and rich.
To toast his 24th birthday this past Saturday, People magazine reports that "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford flew 15 of his longtime friends from Dallas to New York for the weekend.

His hometown boys met up with some of Chace's industry pals -- including Leighton Meester's man, Sebastian Stan -- and hopped aboard another plane, which took them to Water Mill, New York, where they partied at a private residence for two days.

The partying reportedly included swimming, kayaking and a speed boat.

Sadly though, Chace's longtime Manhattan roommate and "Gossip Girl" co-star, Ed Westwick -- whom Chace ditched last week to move into his own penthouse pad -- was a no-show.

But why?

Busy schedule? Sick? Bad feelings because of the recent parting of ways?

Or maybe they're just fighting over Blair again...
