July 13: Blake Lively, The HD Hottie

The actress stars tonight in Gossip Girl.
Washington, D.C. (July 13, 2009) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Blake Lively, who stars tonight in high-def in Gossip Girl at 9 p.m. on the CW.

The 21-year-old actress, who was born in Tarzana, California, stars in the buzzy CW series Gossip Girl. She got her first break, however, in the film, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, which also starred Amber Tamblyn and Ugly Betty's America Ferrera. Blake won a Teen Choice Award for her work in the film.

She reprised her role in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, which is now playing at various times on HBO. Her next film is New York, I Love You, a romance which co-stars Natalie Portman and Orlando Bloom and is expected to be released in October.
