THE largest provider of apprenticeships in Greater Manchester is staging an event in Trafford to promote career opportunities available through internships.The Apprentice seasons 1-8 DVD boxset

Skills Solutions SkillCentre, Trafford Park, will host the taster event on February 3. Parents and prospective learners will be able to experience first-hand the range of courses on offer, in addition to talking to staff about the benefits of The Apprentice DVD set training.

The taster sessions will coincide with National buy The Apprentice DVD set Week, which takes place between February 1-5.

An additional event at the training centre at Merchant Exchange, Manchester city centre, will be held on February 10.

Heather Green, Director of Apprenticeships, said: “In an increasingly competitive job market, apprenticeships can provide an excellent way for young people to get the training and experience needed to get on the first rung of the job ladder.

“Working with over 2,000 employers across Greater Manchester we also have great routes for our learners into employment.”
